Amanda Adkins

Amanda was born and raised in Sparta, North Carolina. She graduated from Alleghany High School in 2004 and attended Surry Community College and Bowman Gray Campus of Wake Forest University completing necessary certifications for Dental Assisting. Amanda has been in the dental field since 2007. She interned with Dr. Terry Johnson in high school and in 2007 became employed full time. Amanda became a backbone of continuity when the practice changed ownership in 2016.
Amanda is married to Gary Adkins and together they have 3 children, Justin, Brianna, and Jake. They live in Alleghany County on a small farm where they enjoy raising goats and chickens while enjoying everything outdoors. She enjoys reading; being active in her local church and helping others focus on their health and well-being. Amanda enjoys oral surgery and working one on one with patients. She enjoys working in the dental field as a means of serving others.
