Dental Implants

A cylindrical and/or tapered post, usually made of titanium, that serves as a substitute for the tooth root and provides a strong and sturdy foundation for one or more replacement teeth. An implant is placed into the jawbone when there is enough bone to support it, and this opens the doors for lots of options to help rehabilitate a patient’s mouth. Implants are used to replace a single tooth, or multiple teeth, or to support crowns, dentures, or partials. This procedure is usually very painless to the patient.
