Amanda Adkins

Amanda was born and raised in Sparta, North Carolina. She graduated from Alleghany High School in 2004 and attended Surry Community College and Bowman Gray Campus of Wake Forest University completing necessary certifications for Dental Assisting. Amanda has been in the dental field since 2007.  She interned with Dr. Terry Johnson in high school and in 2007 became employed full time.  Amanda became a backbone of continuity when the practice changed ownership in 2016.

Amanda is married to Gary Adkins and they have 3 children, 1 daughter in law and 1 grandson. Amanda has dedicated her entire adult career thus far to this practice and to serving the people of Alleghany County.  Her faith drives her passion of serving others and taking care of our patients and this team with love and compassion.  She enjoys reading, decorating, and spending time with her family.
